Routine Scrapper helps students and teachers of Daffodil International University see class
routines, empty rooms and study material. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details (only if you sign in): name, university email address,
student ID, section, and, if you add them, phone number, social links and a profile photo.
Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email or “Continue with Google”.
- Things you create: section tasks and announcements, community posts and
comments, poll votes, reviews, notes and to-dos, files you upload (notes, slides, images,
videos), and questions you ask the AI study helper.
- Blood Bank (optional): your blood group and last donation date, so matching
students can be alerted when blood is needed.
- Searches: the sections, teachers and rooms you look up.
- Device information: an app install ID, the Android device ID and a
push-notification token, used to recognise your device, send reminders and prevent abuse.
- Usage and error data: Firebase Analytics records how the app is used and
app errors, so we can fix problems.
Why we use it
To run the app’s features, manage your account, send class reminders and notices you asked
for, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and improve the app. We never use your data for
advertising and we never sell it.
Who processes it
Your data is stored on our own server and in Cloudflare R2 file storage. Google Firebase delivers
notifications and analytics. Emails are sent through Google. An AI service answers study
questions you ask. These providers only process data on our behalf. We don’t share your
data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account, follow the steps at
Delete your account
(in short: email [email protected] from the address you sign in with). Server backups are
removed within 30 days.
Children
The app is meant for university students and staff.
